Metropolitan Capital Bank is located at 9 E. Ontario St. in the North Annex of the historic Tree Studios. Business hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are open Saturdays and evenings by appointment. For more information, please call (312) 640-2300.

Parking Options: Directly in front of our main location at 9 E. Ontario St. there is a 30 minute loading zone for MetCap clients to park in for periods of up to 30 minutes. Please feel free to park there anytime with the exception of 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. MetCap has also negotiated with the CPS parking garage located at 10 E Ontario to enable our clients to park there for up to three hours for a price of $10. In order to receive this rate, you must pick up a validation ticket while at MetCap. The most convenient access to the CPS parking garage, located on the corner of Ontario and Wabash, is through the Ontario entrance. Additionally we can validate your parking ticket for the Millennium Centre Self Park at 33 West Ontario (the entrance is just west of State Street on Ontario). The cost at the Millennium Centre Self Park is $8 for up to three hours.

Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Public Transportation Options: There are multiple convenient public transportation options available to access Metropolitan Capital Bank. The Grand Red Line train stop is less than two blocks from MetCap, at the corner of Grand Avenue and State Street. In addition to the train, there are multiple buses that service MetCap. The X4, 2, 3, 10, 22, 26, 29, 36, 65, 125, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 151, 156, and 157 all stop within 3 blocks of MetCap.

Historical Information: Metropolitan Capital Bank occupies the entire North Annex of the historic Tree Studios, a workshop to many of Chicago's great artists over the past century. The recent multi-million dollar restoration has returned this property to its original glory, featuring extensive terra cotta reliefs, 18-ft. ceilings, and four 12-ft. picture windows. Original period finishes, railings, bay windows and built-in cabinets decorate MetCap's's 24 additional rooms, including three conference rooms on the first floor, mezzanine offices for the Private Capital Managers that overlook the Bank's main and second floors and a grand conference room in one of the second floor Great Rooms.

In addition to preserving the physical building, MetCap intends to preserve this building’s artistic spirit through a strong tie to the art community. MetCap, in association with Nixon Art Associates, Inc., is launching a new program, "Art Works Chicago" that will feature rotating exhibitions of work by prominent Chicago artists displayed in the workplace setting. The first installment is an installation of paintings by the highly regarded Chicago artist, Vera Klement.
